About Course

This course is designed for students who want to learn ORACLE 
SQL & PL/SQL from basics to advanced and want to become a database
developer.
The course covers all DDL, DML, TCL, DCL, DQL related statements
& all database objects like tables, views, synonyms, sequences,
indexes.

Topics like datatypes, operators, functions, joins, subqueries, etc.
are covered in this course. Topics like control statements, procedures
user defined functions, triggers, cursors, exceptions, etc. in PL/SQL
are covered in this course.
This course also covers object oriented database management in Oracle.

This course includes sections covering the following topics:

  • Introduction to ORACLE
Students will be able to understand the basics of Database and 
ORACLE and how to install ORACLE & setup SQL Developer.
Also be able to learn about the Different Sub languages ​​of SQL
and Datatypes in ORACLE.

  • SQL (DDL ,DML & TCL) Statements / Commands & Operators
In this section, students will learn how to execute different SQL 
(DDL,DML & TCL) Statements like CREATE TABLE,ALTER TABLE,DROP TABLE,
TRUNCATE, INSERT,SELECT,UPDATE,DELETE ,COMMIT,ROLLBACK,SAVEPOINT etc.
with SELECT statement clauses. Also learn the different types of
operators with examples.

  • Built-in-Functions in Oracle SQL

Students will learn how to implement math, string, date time, 
conversion, aggregate, analytic, and advanced functions in SQL.
 
  • Data integrity  Constraints in ORACLE SQL

By the end of this section, the student will be able to implement
all the data integrity constraints like NOT NULL,DEFAULT,CHECK,
UNIQUE,PRIMARY KEY & FOREIGN KEY and IDENTITY Column.


  • Pseudo columns – Sub Queries – Joins – Database Objects ( Sequences, Views, Synonyms , Indexes & Clusters)

In this section you will lean how to implement Pseudo columns, sub queries & co-related subqueries , Joins and Database objects like Sequences, Views , Synonyms , Indexes & Clusters .

  • PL/SQL Programming Basics

Students will learn how to implement the structure of PL/SQL , Data
accessing and control statements like IF, WHILE, FOR, EXIT, GOTO &
CASE.

  • PL/SQL Sub Programs, Packages ,Cursors  & Triggers 

In this section you will learn how to create Procedures, Functions, 
& Packages and how to implement Cursors, Triggers
  • Exception handling in PL/SQL & Object Oriented Oracle with TYPEs. 

At the end of this sections students can able understand Exception handling in PL/SQL programs &  Object Oriented Programming implementation with TYPEs.
